It is a daughter organization of TONO, and a sister of the Norwegian Society of Composers.[1] Chief administrative officer is Lill Øyen, while the board of directors consists of Ragnar Bjerkreim, Kari Bremnes, Ingrid Kindem, Henning Kvitnes, Anniken Paulsen, Lars Martin Myhre and Bent Åserud[2]. NOPA is currently one of the 36 organizations of composers and songwriters represented by the European Composer and Songwriter Alliance.
